What core value does Stream deliver to ecommerce sellers?
For seven years, Stream has turned proven email operations into a ready-to-run product so ecommerce sellers can stay focused on products and traffic.

I am Qianxiang Yin, CEO of Stream Technology. Stream was the first product our team truly brought to market, and today marks seven full years since that journey began.
Over those seven years, Stream has gone through thousands of improvements and has served more than 10,000 stores. Yet the one thing that has remained unchanged is not any individual feature. It is the conviction that led us to build the product in the first place.
We have always believed that ecommerce sellers should save their most valuable time and attention for their products and traffic acquisition.
Those are the two things that determine whether a business can truly get moving.
Email marketing should capture the opportunities created by great products and paid traffic. It should not become another system that merchants have to learn from scratch, build on their own, and maintain indefinitely.
That is why Stream was never designed as a blank tool. From the beginning, we wanted to build a ready-to-run solution that embeds the operating methods, marketing journeys, and day-to-day optimization we have accumulated over time, reducing the burden on merchants while increasing the returns they can achieve.
Inside Stream, we think of email as capturing traffic in two waves
The first wave is what we call "take them back to where they came from."
A shopper clicks an ad, enters the store, views products, and may even add an item to the cart, but leaves without completing the purchase.
At that moment, email should respond while the shopper's attention is still present. It should follow up based on that person's behavior, bring them back into the original purchase journey, and reduce the amount of paid traffic that goes to waste.
The second wave is what we call "creating demand from silence."
When a subscriber enters a quiet period and no longer returns to the store on their own, email can use new products, promotions, and content to reactivate demand. The relationship the store has already built can then continue creating opportunities for visits and sales.
The two waves sound straightforward, but making them work requires a long chain of decisions: when to ask for a subscription, which events should trigger a message, how to segment the audience, how often to send, and what content to use.
If merchants must research, design, and build every step by themselves, email marketing easily becomes something they know they should do but never manage to get running properly.
Stream's job has always been to keep that complexity behind the scenes and bring clarity and ease of use to the front.
Over seven years, this product philosophy has become four groups of capabilities
The first is a pop-up subscription system designed around the customer journey.
It gradually converts store visitors into subscribers the merchant can continue communicating with, creating the foundation for future email operations.
The second is a set of 14 behavior-triggered email strategies built around customer behavior.
What a visitor views, whether they add an item to the cart, and whether they complete a purchase all determine which strategy the system activates. This removes much of the work involved in building workflows from scratch.
The third combines algorithmic audience segmentation with fully automated AI email campaigns.
It continuously engages existing subscribers and helps merchants send more relevant campaigns, turning the idea of reactivating quiet demand into an operating practice.
The fourth is the fully automated review-request center.
It collects reviews after a purchase, automatically helping stores filter negative reviews and build a base of authentic positive customer feedback that can support trust and future customer relationships.
Returning to the original question: what exactly is Stream?
Today, our complete definition is:
Stream is a ready-to-run email revenue solution for ecommerce sellers.
It is not another email marketing tool waiting for merchants to build everything from scratch. It is a product in which we have steadily embedded seven years of accumulated and refined email operating methods.
Merchants should not have to become email marketing experts before they begin, and they should not have to start with a blank workflow. Stream is designed to help them establish an email revenue system that can keep running, so email truly captures the opportunities created by their products and traffic acquisition.
Seven years ago, we made this product judgment.
Seven years later, that judgment has not changed.
We will continue in the same direction: leaving more of the complexity to Stream so ecommerce sellers can devote more of their energy to their products, traffic, and the business itself.
